Oh no, where's Sally?!!!
Losing a key member can cause a lot of grief. Using a role based system, EasyBC allows you to plan far into the future without having a crisis every time a committee member changes. For example, you can set up a reminder every 4 months for the building manager to check the gutters. Who ever holds the Building Manager role on that day will receive the reminder emails.
Constantly changing people and contact details can cause a lot of grief when you are trying to run a compliant and efficient Body Corporate. Lets face it, when someone sells a unit they don’t hang around to see out their time on the committee!
EasyBC uses a role based system. This means tasks can be assigned to certain roles rather than individuals, meaning whenever something assigned to the role needs attention the system will contact the user holding that role at that time.
Users can also update their own contact information in EasyBC. If someone needs to change their email or phone number you don’t have to correct all the lists and redistribute them to everyone. The system just automatically updates itself and amends any reminders etc. due to come to that user.
Examples
Example 1) If your chairperson changes, just transfer the chairperson role to the new person and they will automatically receive all correspondence and reminders assigned to the Chairperson role.
Example 2) The owner of Unit 7 sells up and moves on. The EasyBC Admin can then simply reassign ownership of that unit to a new person by just typing in the new email address. This saves a lot of time. It is then the new owners responsibility to keep their details and their unit details up to date.
